Meet the Wood Chiropractic Clinic Staff

Introducing Elizabeth

We are excited to welcome Elizabeth as the newest member to join the Wood Chiropractic Clinic team!

Elizabeth is a true “California Girl” having only recently relocated to Arkansas City from southern California.  But, she’s a Californian with ties to Kansas and the Midwest.  The youngest of eight siblings, many of her brothers and sisters live in the region and her father was born in Tipton (KS).

It has been an easy fit for Elizabeth to step into the role of Patient Advocate for Wood Chiropractic Clinic.  Her extensive background in business and her natural compassion for people makes her a tremendous asset to the team and a great benefit for our patients – both established and prospective.  Additionally, Elizabeth has first hand knowledge of the benefits of chiropractic care having been a victim of a severe car accident.  She received immediate care for her injuries and has found that regular chiropractic adjustments benefit her overall health and wellness.

When not assisting patients in fitting chiropractic care into their lives, Elizabeth enjoys a number of recreational pastimes.  From reading and watching old movies, cooking and baking, to sports (especially golf and basketball) and cars, Elizabeth is eager to remain active.  However, spending time with family and friends remains her most important priority.

Introducing Yazmin

I am excited to be an active part of Wood Chiropractic Clinic.  I see my position in the office as that of Patient Advocate.  I assist patients with making and keeping appointments to keep their treatment on track, as well as assisting with insurance billing and setting up payments plans when needed to make access to chiropractic care as easy as possible for everyone involved.

My real specialty in our office is providing you with information regarding the opportunities for chiropractic care to positively impact your life as it has my own. I enjoy sharing with others the advantages chiropractic has given me in my daily activities and the life of our young daughter.

When I'm not working to promote chiropractic as a lifestyle choice, I enjoy teaching dance and choreographing, serving in my church and, of course, spending time with my family.  I look forward to helping you, too!

Dr. Jeff Asks some important questions of interest to Arkansas City residents - Chiropractor Arkansas City Dr. Jeff Asks...

What does a chiropractic adjustment do?
Chiropractic adjustments give your spine a little "nudge" at the right place, right time and the right direction so your body can use that energy to "right" itself. With a schedule of consistent chiropractic visits, a new, healthier spinal pattern emerges.
What controls every cell, tissue and organ of your body?
DNA? Wrong. Immune system? Wrong? Hormones? Wrong. It's your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body. When a chiropractor sees a Arkansas City patient with say, stomach problems, we want to know why the brain is unable to properly control and regulate the stomach. Which prompts us to examine the nervous system—the focus of chiropractic care.
